Discussion & attachments

Every adventure has a discussion on its overview page — one place for the group's conversation, so it doesn't get lost in a busy group chat.

Posting

Any member can post, whatever their RSVP — including emergency contacts. New messages appear for everyone straight away, without refreshing. The most recent 50 messages are shown.

Messages can be up to 5,000 characters.

Photos and documents

Attach up to 4 files to a message, each up to 10MB:

• Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC (iPhone photos are converted automatically);
• Documents: PDF, Word, Excel and GPX files.

Each adventure has room for 250MB of attachments in total.

Linking photos to gear

Posted a photo of a piece of kit? Link it to an item in group gear so it shows up there too. Any member can link or unlink a photo.

Deleting messages

You can delete your own messages — any attachments go with them. You can't delete other people's messages.

Public adventures

Visitors to a public adventure can read the discussion but can't post. Don't share anything private in the discussion of a public adventure.
