Itinerary & ideas

Plan day by day with cards, keep an ideas list and drag things into place.

The itinerary is your day-by-day plan. It's built from cards — one for each activity, stop, campsite or anything else — arranged on the days of the trip, plus an Ideas list for things you haven't scheduled yet.

Days and cards

Every day between the adventure's start and end dates has a slot. A day can hold as many cards as you like, or none at all.

Each card can have:

  • a title — "Walk in to Mingulay bay", "Rest day", "Drive to Oban";
  • a description — route notes, booking references, anything useful;
  • a start and end time;
  • accommodation for the night, with an optional map link.

For the map link, enter coordinates (for example 56.8167, -7.6333) or paste a full map URL. On a phone, tapping it opens your maps app.

Dates come from the adventure's start date. If the organiser moves the trip, every card moves with its day.

Ideas

Not sure when something fits? Put it in Ideas. Ideas aren't tied to a day — they're a shared scratchpad for "we could…" plans. Everyone who can see the adventure can see them.

When you're ready, drag an idea onto a day. You can also drag a card back into Ideas.

Rearranging

  • On a computer: drag cards between days, within a day, or to and from Ideas.
  • On a phone: use the arrows on a card, or the Move to menu to send it to a particular day or to Ideas.

If someone else changed the itinerary while you were moving a card, your move isn't saved — the page reloads with their latest version so nobody's work is overwritten. Just make your move again.

Who can do what

  • Organiser and people who are Going: add, edit and rearrange cards and ideas.
  • Organiser only: delete cards.
  • Everyone who can see the adventure: view the schedule and ideas — including visitors to a public adventure.

The itinerary (without ideas) is included in the trip pack.
