RSVPing
Tell the organiser whether you’re going, and what each RSVP status means.
Your RSVP tells the organiser whether you're coming — and decides whether you can help plan.
RSVP options
| Status | Meaning | Can you edit the plan? |
|---|---|---|
| Going | You're coming | ✓ |
| Maybe | Not sure yet | — |
| Can't Go | You're not coming | — |
| Invited | You haven't answered yet | — |
Everyone, whatever their RSVP, can see the whole plan, post in the discussion and keep a personal packing list. Only people who are Going (and the organiser) can add or change itinerary, meals, transport, gear, tasks and costs. See Roles & permissions.
Changing your RSVP
Either:
- use Your RSVP on the adventure overview, or
- open View Attendees and use the dropdown next to your name.
You can change it as often as you like. If plans change after you've said Can't Go, the adventure is still on your dashboard under Can't Go — just switch back to Going.
RSVP deadlines
If the organiser has set a deadline, you'll see RSVP by date on the attendee list. You may also get a reminder email if you haven't answered.
Things to know
- Can't Go keeps you out of cost splits for the trip.
- The organiser can also update your RSVP for you — for example if you told them in the group chat.
- Emergency contacts don't RSVP — they're not on the trip.
