Transport

Transport makes sure everyone has a seat there and back, and that drivers know who they're picking up.

Adding a car

Add a vehicle and set:

• Direction — Going There, Coming Back, or both;
• Seats — how many passengers it can take;
• Departure date, time and location;
• Notes — "leaving from Glasgow, can stop in Stirling", "room for one big pack".

The person who adds a car becomes its driver.

Add separate cars for the outbound and return journeys if the group splits differently on the way back.

Getting a seat

Click Join this vehicle on a car with free seats. When you join a car going there, you'll be offered the return trip in the same car too. Changed your mind? Leave this vehicle frees your seat.

Cars show as full when every seat is taken.

For drivers

You can edit your car's details and remove passengers if plans change.

Who can do what

• Organiser and people who are Going: add cars and take seats.
• All members: see every car and who's in it.
• Visitors to a public adventure: can add a car, join or leave one, and manage their own car without an account. They're asked once for their name and phone number, which is remembered on their device for 7 days.

Departure times in the trip pack are shown in your own time zone.
